What we collect
The only information we ask for is what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, the kind of business you run, what you need help with, and optionally your website, phone number and a message. We use it to answer you. Nothing more.
Submissions are emailed to a mailbox on our own server and are not passed to a third-party form or CRM service on the way.
Like most websites, our server records standard technical information with each request — IP address, browser, and the page requested — in its access logs. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read. It sets cookies and sends Google a record of your visit, including a truncated IP address. The data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally, and we do not use it for advertising. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit with Google’s browser add-on.
Spam protection
The contact form carries checks against automated submissions. Three run on our own server: a hidden field a person never sees, a signed token recording when the form was loaded (so a submission filled in faster than a human could type is rejected), and a rule that the message may not contain web links.
The form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks in the background that the visitor is a person rather than a script. To do that, your browser sends Cloudflare technical signals such as your IP address and browser details when the form loads. Cloudflare handles that data under its Turnstile privacy addendum. It does not receive anything you type into the form, and Turnstile does not set advertising cookies.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are kept while we are in conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards in case the work resumes. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
Cookies
This site sets cookies needed for it to function and for analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the address below or use the contact form and we will handle it.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect or what we do with it changes, we will update this page and change the date at the top. There is no archive of previous versions.
