A website for your small business, built by one designer and kept running every month after it goes live. For contractors, nail salons, restaurants and other local businesses in the East Bay who want customers to find them, book them and call them.
You tell us what you do and who you do it for. We design the site with you, connect the booking tool you already use, set up your Google Business Profile, and put it live. Then we look after it: hosting, backups, updates, and the small changes a business needs every few weeks — a new price, new photos, holiday hours.
What you get
- A site designed with you. Your services, your work, your area. Written in the words your customers use, not ours.
- Made for phones first. Most people will see your site on a phone, standing somewhere, deciding whether to call. It is built for that moment.
- A way to reach you that works. A contact form, an estimate request, or a Book button — whichever fits how you take work.
- Your booking tool, connected. Square, Vagaro, Fresha, Housecall Pro, Jobber, Resy and most others. We connect what you already run; you do not have to switch.
- Your Google Business Profile set up, so the name, hours and phone number people see on Google match your site.
- The basics search engines look for — clear page titles, descriptions, and pages that load fast.
- Hosting and care every month. We keep it online, backed up and updated, and we make the changes you ask for.
Priced for a small business, not an agency
An agency quote pays for a team: an account manager, a designer, a developer, a project manager. You are not paying for a team here. One designer builds your site, and that is the person you talk to from the first call to the hundredth edit.
So the build is a small one-time cost. What you are really paying for is the monthly plan, because that is where small-business websites actually go wrong. The launch is rarely the problem. Month six is: a price changed and nobody updated it, a plugin broke, the booking button stopped working, and the person who built it is gone. The monthly plan is the answer to month six.
Ask for a quote and you get one in writing, with the one-time cost and the monthly cost side by side. Tell us about your business and we will send it.
Built for your trade
A plumber’s website and a nail salon’s website have different jobs, so they are not the same site with a different logo.
- Contractors — your license number where California requires it, photos of real jobs, and an estimate request that gets answered while you are on site.
- Nail salons and spas — a service menu with prices you change in one place, and a Book button that stays on screen on a phone.
- Restaurants — a menu people can read on a phone, hours that are right on holidays, and your reservation or ordering link front and center.
Running something else — a shop, a studio, a small office? The same approach applies. Tell us what a customer needs to see before they call you, and we build around that.
Booking that works with what you already use
Almost every booking and reservation tool can be added to a website with a button, a link or an embedded window. There is rarely a reason to build booking from scratch, and a good reason not to: the tool you already pay for keeps your calendar, your reminders and your payments in one place. We put it on your site where people will actually use it. How online booking works on your site.
How it works
- A short call. Twenty minutes, no charge. What you do, who your customers are, what you have now.
- We gather what the site needs. Your services and prices, photos, the areas you cover, and the booking or ordering tool you use.
- We build it and you review it. You see the site before anyone else does, and you tell us what to change.
- It goes live, and we keep it running. The monthly plan starts. When something about your business changes, you tell us and the site changes with it.
Websites we have built
No client is named on this site. That is deliberate. What we can show you is what we built and why.
- A nail studio in the East Bay — the site, a price list that changes in one place, a payroll tool, local search, and review requests that go out after a visit. We still run all of it.
- A construction company — a site from scratch, then a CRM, online call booking and automatic replies, because once enquiries started arriving they asked for them.
- A salon that changed hands — the new owner inherited the old owner’s website. We rebuilt it around her business, and her local search visibility and online visits went up.
- A furniture retailer in the Bay Area — the brand first, then an online store to sell under it.
After launch: getting found
A website that nobody finds is a business card in a drawer. Once your site is live, the next step for most local businesses is showing up when someone nearby searches for what you do: your Google Business Profile kept current, reviews that come in on their own, and pages for the towns you actually serve. That is a separate monthly plan, and you only need it when you want more customers than you are getting. How getting found on Google works.
When you do not need us
- Your site works and you update it yourself. Keep it. A new website is not an improvement just because it is new.
- You enjoy building it and have the time. Wix and Squarespace are fine tools. If you will keep it current, do it yourself.
- You are fully booked from referrals and do not want more work. A good profile on Google may be all you need.
- You need a large custom application rather than a website. That is a different conversation — see apps and custom software.
Common questions
How much does a website cost?
A small one-time cost to build it, then a monthly plan for hosting and care. The build is priced for a small business, not for an agency with a team to pay. Send us a few lines about your business and we will reply with both numbers in writing.
Who will I be working with?
One designer, the whole way through. The person on the first call is the person who builds your site and the person who changes it next year. You will not be handed to an account manager.
How long does it take?
It depends mostly on how quickly we get your services, prices and photos. The design and build are the fast part. We will give you a date on the first call, once we know what you have ready.
I already have a website. Can you fix it instead?
Sometimes. If the site is sound and only needs updating, we will say so. If the structure is the problem, rebuilding is usually cheaper than patching — that was the answer for the salon that inherited its site.
Can you connect the booking app I already pay for?
Almost certainly. If your tool gives you a booking link, a button or an embed code — and nearly all of them do — it goes on your site. You keep your calendar, reminders and payments exactly where they are.
Tell us about your business
A few lines is enough: what you do, the area you work in, whether you have a website now, and which booking or ordering tool you use, if any. Send it here and you will hear back within one business day.
